Barcelona

Barcelona is the cosmopolitan city par excellence. Tradition and Mediterranean culture join together in the Catalan capital. Barcelona is the fusion of styles: those with more than 2000 years of history and those of modern times. Just like our hotels in Barcelona that combine traditional architecture with the most up-to-date forms.

La Rambla and El Raval
Between Plaza Catalunya and the port is La Rambla, a unique promenade, alive and colourful, full of newspaper kiosks and flower stores. Near La Rambla are three of our hotels in Barcelona: H10 Universitat, H10 Racó del Pi and H10 Catalunya Plaza. And on the other side of the promenade is El Raval, the city’s multicultural neighbourhood par excellence. If you come to one of these hotels in Barcelona, you can leisurely visit La Boqueria market, La Plaza Real or the Great Liceu Theatre.

The Gothic District and the Born
During your stay in one of our hotels in Barcelona, the H10 Montcada, you can visit the Gothic District where you’ll find the remains of the old Roman city, the mediaeval buildings, the City History Museum or the Cathedral. Close by is the Born, a neighbourhood where you will find some of the most modern stores in the city.

La Ribera
La Ribera is the neighbourhood of the Santa María del Mar church, one of the best-known in the city. Its streets combine the gothic style with the neoclassic style of the buildings in Via Laietana, typical of the architecture of one of the H10 hotels in Barcelona.

Sagrada Familia
If you are staying at one of our H10 Barcelona hotels, take the opportunity to visit the Sagrada Familia, the key work of the modernist architect Gaudí who laid the first stone in 1882 and which, even today, is still under construction. From the windows of many of our hotels in Barcelona, you will enjoy a view of this church and the skyline of the city.

Park Güell
While at one of our hotels in Barcelona, don’t miss the occasion to walk around the Park Güell, a space full of modernist gardens, sculptures and typical Gaudí steps; it leaves nobody indifferent. Then come and relax at H10 hotels Barcelona.

La Pedrera
La Casa Milá, better known as La Pedrera, was declared a World Heritage site in 1984. Visit this building which is the high point of the renowned Paseo de Grácia, full of charm and with some interiors that are well worth a look. Take a break and stop to eat something in the restaurants of the H10 hotels in Barcelona before continuing with your visit.

Modernism - The Golden Square
Like a chess board, the Eixample is "El Quadrat d’Or" (the Golden Square) of modernism. If you’re staying at one of the H10 hotels in Barcelona, don’t miss the opportunity to stroll the bustling square blocks of the Eixample.

Port, Barceloneta and Olympic Village
Barcelona is a city by the sea: more than 4 km of beaches, la Barceloneta, the traditional neighbourhood of sailors and fishermen and la Villa Olímpica (the Olympic Village built specially for the 1992 Olympic Games). If you want to see the sea, stay at the H10 Marina Barcelona, one of our more modern Barcelona hotels.
