H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

We spent 5 days at the hotel and had a great time. Our room was tidy and comfortable, the meals were delicious and varied. The staff were very nice and helpful from the first minute. Special thanks to Ágota from public relations who was very precise and helped us with everything. The animation was also excellent, the animators were well prepared and enthusiastic. They created fantastic decorations and a lot of activities for Halloween. Thanks for everything!

Just back from a week here. The hotel is fantastic with a couple of things worth pointing out that may be helpful. First all the positives: The staff are fantastic. Every member of staff we met was friendly and extremely helpful, from the reception staff to the waiting team to the Kids Club team. We couldn't speak highly enough of them. Our room was fine. It was clean and well maintained. It wasn't huge but fine for myself and my 8 year old daughter. It also had a large balcony The Kids Club team were brilliant with the kids and were around all day checking to make sure everyone was having a good time. They also put on entertainment for the adults during the day. Not my kind of thing but lots of people enjoyed it. The pools are wonderful. You have a choice of a large pool with slides for the kids or a smaller one that is warmer and close to the buffet and drinks. There's another pool that is for 'Privilege' guests. Didn't really see the point in that as there was almost nobody at that one all week. Food was fine. We went half board but when we got there we paid an extra 28 for me and 14 for my daughter which allowed us to go all-inclusive. I highly recommend this! This means you can avail of the excellent buffet and all the drinks you want throughout the day. We really enjoyed this buffet as it was extremely well stocked with a wide variety of of fish, meat, chicken, veg, salads, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, deserts and ice-cream. You could also help yourself to beer, wine, cava and order cocktails, coffee etc. To me, this was possibly the best thing in terms of food. You could also have whatever you wanted to drink at dinner time and even in the bar after dinner. I just have to say that personally I am not a fan of buffet dinner in hotels so I am biased against them. That said the buffet here was very good for what it was. There was a wide array of food to appeal to everyone and the food changed every day we were there. It you like buffet, you will really enjoy this one. The beach just outside the hotel is fabulous. The sand is soft and the water warm and it's literally two minutes away. Slight negatives: We found the hotel to be a little isolated. If you are going here be aware that there really isn't much going on in Costa Calma. You're pretty much stuck for your entire stay unless you want to drive to another town several miles away. Personally I like to get out few times during a holiday and experience a bit of atmosphere, maybe some food or entertainment elsewhere. I knew Costa Calma was quiet but I didn't know how quiet it was going to be. That said, you may not want to do that. If so you will be very happy with staying around the hotel as it's very large with plenty of places to sit. The evening entertainment wasn't great. We only went two nights and didn't think it created much of an atmosphere. Things seemed to wind down quiet early which actually suited myself and my daughter as we were already nicely tired after hanging out at the pool from 10am to 6.30pm every day. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel, with the couple of caveats I have pointed out. I would particularly like to thank all the amazing staff for looking after us with such good humour and generosity.

We stayed for ten nights last May in a privilege junior suite with terrace and found the H10 Tindaya to be an excellent all-round hotel. We have stayed at many H10 hotels before, some five times but I would highly recommend the Tindaya, it does not exceed in every aspect, but it does not let you down in any aspect either. From arriving at reception and being greeted by Samual Martinez, who is by far the best front of house employee I have had the pleasure of meeting at any H10 hotel! everything just seemed to work, Samual could not do enough for us throughout our stay and was a breath of fresh air compared to the reception staff at our last H01 hotel only a few months earlier. The room was a good size, well proportioned, spotlessly clean and well maintained, a great terrace with full sun and a sea view. The restaurants where excellent, we always had breakfast in the Alisios, lunch in the Betancuria and evening meal in either the Alissios or route 66, never disappointed with the quality or service and any restaurant. We found the privilege lounge to be comfortable and more than adequate with the variety of drinks and snacks available, we only use the solarium once but it was nicely set out with limited drinks available for self-service. The entertainment was as expected at mainstream hotels, with this being a family hotel the children certainly enjoyed the early evening sessions with Daisy, though the entertainment room was rather busy the bar people worked tirelessly to ensure you never waited for long, oh, did I mention Voll Damm on draught, excellent! The grounds are well maintained and though there was work being carried out on the pool bar area this was of no inconvenience, the hotel is in a nice position to have a walk around the beach or along the paved area. Overall an excellent hotel, great location, a decent privilege package, great room option, exceptional food and service, the staff are just excellent, we will certainly return and are hoping that our visit to another H10 in Mexico in six week’s time can complete with the service given at the Tindaya.

Solo holiday (female) ... hotel is good for solo travellers. I went off peak in March 2023. Food was delicious plenty of variety, bit annoying you have to book your dinner time( &even then it's still busy) The coffee shop outside Mikes wow this place was my favourite.. do try! Great entertainment was the best I've seen in spain/canaries actually. Good wine prosecco and all drinks nice. Rooms good , comfy bed and gardens clean and well maintained. Overall good hotel and good staff. Beautiful views and stunning grounds. Cons: Paying to have your towels changed not good and paying for a safe?! Bars extremely understaffed takes so long for a drink inside and out. Pools need some tlc. There were cochroaches! I only saw in downstairs toilets. Not enough seating In the buffet area or the entertainment room/bar. Having to pay extra if you check out late to continue using facilities drinks and food. Pool snacks need to be covered better birds coming in. This place is not 4 star more 3 star. However I would return. I have stayed at pajara beach next door previously which was a bit better.
