An impressive terrace on the 8th floor of the hotel. It has a glassed-in plunge pool, a sun lounger area and impressive views over El Retiro Park and the Salamanca district. It is the perfect outdoor spot to enjoy delicious Mediterranean tapas or relax with a cocktail while you watch the sun go down. The pool will be open from 1 June to 30 September.

From the moment we arrived to when we checked out the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, the bed very comfortable and a lovely sized bathroom. The breakfast was excellent as was the food on the rooftop terrace. I would highly recommend this perfectly situated hotel.

Madrid - H10 Puerta de Alcala ... good hotel in a good location!

Stayed 4 nights; great location right behind Retiro park; with very friendly and helpful hotel staff - the front desk, housekeeping, the morning breakfast team, and the rooftop bar staff. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety - fresh fruit, breads, pastries, yogurts, cereal, juices, etc. The staff and the breakfast made for a very enjoyable stay in Madrid.

Great stay.

We have stayed at this hotel before and always had an enjoyable stay. However on this occasion we had a Fantastic stay. This was mainly due to the staff, especially Javier on reception, but in general they all seemed so much more helpful, willing to help and happy than on our previous visits. Javier welcomed us when we arrived, he was always on hand to help during our stay and if he wasn't there the other staff were more than willing to, the room was clean and the service at the bars excellent. Its a lovely location to stay and i would highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel near Retiro Park

Couldn't have picked a better hotel - welcoming and friendly from the start. We arrived on an early flight and they were happy to store our bags while we looked around the Retiro Park which is just around the corner. We went back for some lunch in the rooftop bar/restaurant and they already had a room ready for us. The room was a good size, very clean and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was big with a shower over a bath which was very powerful. A nice little seating area opposite the bed, a minibar/fridge, lots of hanging space and an iron and board. The rooftop bar is a lovely place to watch the sun set over the city and we had cocktails up there a couple of times. There is also a small swimming pool on the roof. Quite a way out of the city centre but that meant it was also quiet and it was an easy walk to the museums and about half an hour to walk to Plaza Mayor. Near a metro station though and taxis are not very expensive either. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.
