Great location! Was wowed by the reception area. Rooms clean and spacious. Great breakfast and staff lovely. My only small negative is the amount of storage space where basin is, hardly any, however enough space underneath to make some extra storage. Otherwise everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

A Little Oasis in Barcelona

This property is located just after the Gothic Quarter, at the start of the Eixample District, and right beside a metro station and bus stop. Right near the best shopping too! Could not be more convenient for public transit, or access to literally everything you want to do in Barcelona. Walk to the beach was about 25 mins, but you could easily jump on the Metro and get there quicker. Hotel and rooms were modern. We staying in the Urquinaona Double Room which had a large balcony facing this lovely courtyard to the side / back of the building. It was very quiet, and serene to sit out there in the morning. Very quiet room, great blackout curtains. There as a coffee machine in the room, and you got free bottles of water daily. The bed was great. Very comfortable and you did not feel your partner moving at all. The room layout was a bit odd... as the sink was in the main bedroom, with just a toilet and rain shower in the bathroom. But it was ok. Large shower, and lots of towels. We got breakfast, which was worth it. Great options for meats/eggs/other proteins, yogurts, along with the usual carb options. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying at this property, as its price point is great for the location.

Our stay at this hotel preceded us leaving Barcelona on a cruise. The hotel was booked as part of the package by our travel agent. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. We were not expecting the level of luxury in the room, given it was an essential room. Literally everything we could possibly need was provided: bath robes, slippers, all toiletries including toothbrushes and paste, a full. Ini bar (which was nit expensive) and a coffee machine.
The hotel is in the perfect position for sightseeing in Barcelona. We also enjoyed the breakfast selection at the hotel. It was comprehensive and delicious.
When we returned to the hotel after our cruise, the gentleman on duty came to the doors and relieved us all of our cases, and took them down to reception for us. The hotel stored our luggage for us as we were a little early before our rooms were ready. The politeness and helpfulness of the staff was a definite plus in this hotel.
We will definitely be booking an H10 hotel again!

Originally booked to stay here for a night in March, we had to cancel due to the Gulf War, but rebooked for a longer period.
Close to the Plaza Catalunya/metro network (350 meters). Spotlessly clean with excellent service throughout our stay. We've been looking for a place to gravitate to when we visit Barcelona, having had some disappointments in the past, but we may well have found it.
