H10 Porto Poniente, Benidorm

Been to Benidorm many times staying at the Melia, Rio, Rh Princessa, Sol Pelicanos, Marcomfort to name a few but this is the best by far and will be our choice moving forward as we visit every October . Room was excellent, loved the roof top pool , perfect to get the sun all day . We found the food very good plenty of choice and good tasting, my only gripe would be the coffee machines at breakfast but to be honest its the same at all hotels not very nice, we particularly liked being shown to a table at breakfast and dinner rather then walking around trying to find one. Drinks were fairly priced and always served with a smile by the staff. We highly recommend the hotel and will be returning, pay the extra for a sea view room well worth the money .

Overview - the hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from tapas alley and is great gem! The hotel isnt overly big, but its well maintained, clean and the views from the sea view rooms are stunning. Staff - all staff members we encountered are polite and always seem happy and willing to help you (keep up the great work, as you make it the hotel what it is!). Breakfast - good choice of food (including nice fruit selection etc), however the coffee machine could do with a white coffee option, as you have to get black coffee and then get milk from the food area (including milk for a cup of tea to). Evening Food - we only ate twice in the restaurant, as we like to go out and experience the local restaurants in the area, but when we did eat in, the choice was plenty and food nicely cooked. Room - we had two rooms, ours being the sea view room on level 6, where the views are just stunning (both at sun rise/set) and the evening lights in the distance. The bathroom area is very model and quite luxury. The room itself was model and the bed is so comfy and there is plenty of room to hang your clothes up and a free safe in the room. There is also a kettle and fridge to use. There are a few English TV channels on the 42 TV (well I think its 42). Rooms are cleaned every day, however make sure you leave your used cups etc. by the bin or they might not get changed (including towels being left on the floor). The second room was a lot bigger, as we travelled with our son but swapped with his sea view room, however his room was more spacious and the balcony area was a part seaview kind. Entertainment - although we didnt see any entertainment during our stay at the hotel, they do have entertainment on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Pool Areas - Level 5 is where the roof top pool is located (including small pool), which includes a small restaurant. Its great but as there are not many sunbeds, it does get busy and limited very early (I could imagine in the summer, there would be a queue first thing to grab your sunbeds!) Level 7 - Adults only area with sunbeds and a plunge pool. Level 8 - Although we didnt use this area, there is a small sun bed Terrace located on this floor but no pool. Drinks - you can put your drinks tab on the room, however once you go up to 150, you need to pay your bill at reception to continue adding to your room (good system) and the hotel drink prices are reasonable. Old town - we mainly stayed in the old town and its just buzzing all day / night and the food in tapas alley is just great! Day Trip - We did a day trip to valencia and I would recommend anyone to go and see this place (if youve not been before).. its just a great Spanish city and some stunning buildings / architecture to see! Both old and new. We did go to the Benidorm palace show Aire and it wasnt bad, but I wouldnt be back in a hurry, however it was an experience. Overall, this hotel is great and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Benidorm.. as its located in the old town and only a 5-10 min taxi ride / 30 min walk into the new town - you get the best of both worlds (if you want both that is). Thank you for a great stay and we shall be back for sure. This hotel I think is one of the best in Benidorm.

This is our third visit (twice last year) and again what an amazing stay we had. The Hotel is modern, cosy and extremely clean - immaculate. When we checked in we were greeted by familiar smiling faces of Anna, Carman and Randy (and another lady I cant remember her name I apologise). A glass of cava on arrival. The hotel let you rent beach towels, 15 deposit per towel (we took 2 each) and the deposit returned once you hand the towels back at the end of the week. You can swap them for clean towels anytime for 1 per towel - great little service (and saves packing your own beach towels). The room was immaculate, this time we opted for the sea view and it was lovely sitting on the balcony. The aircon is fantastic (and I love the fact it turns off if you open the balcony door - very green/good for the environment!). The room also has a fridge. Theres smart TV in the room (however not that many UK channels - we always take our Amazon Fire Stick away with us and it worked fine with their TV). The rooms were cleaned when we left the card on our door handle and the cleaners did an amazing job (I noticed when I came back to the room just after the cleaner had finished theyd even mopped the floor and it smelt of a nice disinfectant). On the 5th Floor is the pool and bar/day time restaurant. Theyve moved this around a little since our visit last year and its 100% better. Theres plenty of beds (theres more on the 7th and 8th floor), its always immaculate. The bar has now been moved into the restaurant which has glass bi-folding doors which are all the way open making it open plan. The drink prices are reasonable for a hotel and the food is really good - we ate most lunchtimes here. The staff are great - a big shout out to Maria and Rocio (excuse my spelling if incorrect) who are ALWAYS smiling, polite, friendly, and really work hard all day as it can be very busy here (though they make sure youre never waiting long to be served). Theres showers on this floor and also the 7th Floor if you need to cool off/rinse off. The downstairs restaurant is used for breakfast and evening meals. Again this is so well organised (thanks to Joshua and Liedy and the other staff doing a great job). Breakfast is perfect, english bacon and sausages, omelettes to order all at the grill. Theres plenty of choices of pastries, cereals, fruit etc. - honestly I couldnt think of anybody not finding something they wanted for breakfast. The evening meals were really good - again plenty of choice, fresh meats being cooked at the pass e.g. one evening there was chicken skewers being cooked to order whilst you wait.. They were amazing. Always plenty of choices and the quality of the food is fantastic. Theres plenty of staff to tidy away plates, set tables, help bring out fresh portions to the buffet section - we loved eating here - great menu choices by the kitchen team! In the evening there's lots of seating around the bar area and reception and the bar staff are great - (a shout out to Guiness and a lady with blonde hair I think Suzanne?) who again are always smiling, and work hard to make sure youre not waiting long for drinks. Theres choices of cocktails and again reasonably priced. Theres some comfy seats outside the front of the hotel and the bar staff come and take your drink order - a lovely way to sit with a cold drink and watch the world go by outside. If youre looking for somewhere to stay I 100% recommend it here - we wont look at any other hotel in Benidorm and well be back next year - we already cant wait. Great work by the team - keep it up youre making it so special for all the guests who stay with you!

We loved it so much last year, we returned this year for our 30th anniversary . Beautiful hotel with a fantastic location . After a lovely breakfast in the morning , we would spend a few hours basking in the sunshine by the pool . I'd nip off to the well equipped gym for an hour before lunch . I crossed the road a few times for a dip in the sea . We used the pool in the spa too but never got round to a spa treatment (maybe next visit) . The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable . All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was a gem of a hotel and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to family , friends and fellow TripAdvisor travellers.
