Ocean Coral Spring, Jamaica

Overall we had an amazing family trip. We stayed on Ocean Side in a regular room (1263). To start the majority of the staff are very welcoming, love to chat and always making sure your stay is going well! The resort was not full so not wait times the majority of the time. Weather was great, but very warm and the UV index was high 8-10 each day, make sure you have lots of sunscreen! The service at check-in/check-out is pretty disappointing as they seem to not want to be there and are not very pleasant, otherwise no issue checking in and straight to room. Then when bags were delivered to the room the bell boy was given a nice tip and he just walked out without so much as a thank you. Now we could have allowed the first hour of our trip to ruin our experience, but this was minor and our minds were open. The grounds and rooms are beautiful, its nice to see the workers continuing to keep the resort in tip top shape(minor wear and tear, but thats to be expected). The rooms are comfortable and inviting, especially with the large patio with a swing. The only room downfall personally was there was no additional lock once you entered the room by key card. The food was good, nothing exceptional or blow your mind worthy. We had better luck at Marthas(buffet), plenty of foods to choose from that will satisfy even the pickiest eater. We did try a few of the a la cartes but they were nothing special or tasty, just got the job done. Definitely try out the jerk hut down by the beach, go early to ensure you get what you want and not have a long wait(really the only line we encountered) but worth it! Drinks were good and we did not find the drinks to be watered down, but our favs were pina colada's, banana daiquiri and any margs! The beach is beautiful, we love the ocean being from the east coast so the smell Was heavenly(IYKYK). The ocean is a beautiful turquoise colour with the coral visible as you need to walk the path out into the ocean. There is a buoy rope in the water to keep you from going past, at this point water is bellybutton deep but warm! The beach is nice but it seems man made perhaps, many shaded huts and chairs available. The pool was beautiful and not chilly but refreshing(who likes chilly waters anyhow?) We found seats every morning under the canopy no earlier than 8am. Yes there are many seats in the sun but you can find shade, afternoon the palm trees around the pool cast good shade. The kids pool area is also great, our 7yo enjoyed it, but the water does crash down hard on the water park and parents cant go on/up the structure. Over all I would rate 4.5/5. I would absolutely return, but there are so many other resorts to explore. Dont let the bad reviews fool you, if you let the small things ruin your trip thats on you, always have an open mind while travelling.

Amazing time here can't wait to be back we cane on a daypass and with the kids the kids water park was good checking was great sad we had to leave but coming quick shout out to Andre who was by the front desk, he showed our group around 5out 5

Had a wonderful time, the resort was clean and very accommodating all the staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful views and delicious food. Lots of fun programs, staff members Kikin and Regla were exceptional,

This is our second visit and we had another very good stay. Property is beautiful with lots of amenities for all ages. The staff makes the experience and they were kind friendly and responsive. Thanks to: Shawn (bellhop); Shavel (front desk); Orlean (housekeeper) and to manager Ricardo who responded promptly to open my room safe, within minutes before I left for an excursion. Shout out to the extraordinary bartenders and wait staff!! The team at the Jamaican Grill ( Tafari, Helen, Steven) is amazing and the food is so delicious, there is always a line-up. ?? Few areas need improvement: beach is bit rocky. Sustainable resort so some processes are slow such as linen delay, but always corrected. No place is perfect. We highly recommend and are planning another trip!

Great family resort. Resort has a huge pool, lazy river, bowling, kids water park area. The restaurants are great, favourite was Route 66, Sakura, Italian and thali. Clive at lazy river bar was exceptional. He made you feel like you were at home and was so personable and quick at making drinks and ensured the bar area was always clean. Beach has some rocks and seed weed areas but lots of paths you can walk through that are clean and sandy. Overall a great stay !
