Ocean Coral Spring, Jamaica

My husband and I, along with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson stayed at Ocean Coral Springs family side in November 2024. My husband and I stayed at Ocean Eden Bay adult side in September 2024. See the Ocean Eden Bay review for an overall review of the full resort. Ocean Coral Springs is a luxury resort with so much to offer. We had the Privilege package for the whole resort, so it was extra special. The resort is well laid out and gorgeously landscaped with so much greenery and gardens. The accommodations are beautiful and spacious. The bathroom is large, the main area has two sections, and the balcony is private and comfortable (I love the hanging chair). Our son requested a crib, and it was set up in the room when they arrived. The pool is large and has plenty of shady areas to sit in. Sit near the music for pool entertainment, dancing lessons and exercise. On the weekends it is a bit busier and louder around the pools as some guests fly in for the weekend. Sit away from the music if you prefer a quieter time or go to the beach. The childrens pools are so fun. The beach is well shaded. The ocean bottom in this area is mostly sandy. There are also about 16 beach chairs on the right of the rock outcrop (1Love) which allows guests to take advantage of the best beach area. It is a small section beside the Privilege beach area. There are extras such as bowling and nightly entertainment in the lobbies and on the outside walkway. Grab an ice cream in evening from the outside kiosk. The food is excellent especially at the Marthas Market buffet (best buffet we have had to date with lots of variety and fresh local foods), Red Snapper, Privilege restaurants and all the restaurants (Bluemoon, Steakhouse, Marlin) on the adult side. The family style restaurants such as Route 66 are good and cater to families. I recommend booking on the resort app and at an earlier time slot for smaller crowds. If not go to the lobby and guest services will help you book. We really appreciated Mikes coffee shop for excellent coffee, tea, iced tea (delicious), snacks, cookies, etc. I highly recommend adding Privilege room and services. Worthwhile as so many services, such as better room, Privilege beach area (best beach area), Privilege bar (quaint and top shelf alcohol), Privilege restaurant for all meals (quaint and superior food with a la carte service), butler service, room service and more! We had Privilege services that covered both the family side and the adult side. This allowed us to eat as a family including the grandson at all the restaurants on the family side, along with the Privilege restaurant at breakfast and lunch. It also allowed my husband and I to eat at the adult side restaurants and then return to babysit our grandson while my son and daughter-in-law enjoyed couple time in the adult side restaurants for dinner. Having access to Privilege services for the whole resort really elevated our experience. It really is a great resort, and we do not understand why some people complained in reviews. Relax and enjoy the resort Jamaican style. If possible, consider tipping the staff. We have some shout outs to exceptional staff, many of whom remembered us from a previous visit. I had a fabulous first time visiting Jamaica! The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was terrific. They were so engaged with the guests and helpful. Dean, the lifeguard, was friendly and respectful, making us feel welcome whenever we hung out by the pool.

We had a very good time. We just needed more time to enjoy the property more. We definitely will be goin back. Food was great and there's a lot to do there. Only reason y I dont give a 5 star is coz the floor and curtains of the room was dirty but overall we had a great time

Visited this resort between Nov 12-16th and had a great experience. This resort is beautiful and esthetically pleasing. I enjoyed the tennis court, free kayaking & bowling with my family. I appreciated that there was always enough chairs around the pool and beach despite the resort looking busy. The staff were all so friendly everywhere went and was always asking if we're good or needed anything. I do agree with the reviews that towels were hard to come by sometimes. The evening entertainment could definitely be better too. I enjoyed a few different cocktails & wine throughout the week but the only bartender that knew how to make an old fashion is Lenois. He was the sweetest and made kick-ass old fashions with so much passion, I wish the rest of the team could follow. I wasn't super crazy about the beach and probably wouldn't return to the location for that reason alone. Overall, my family and I had a fun stay.
